Where to stay
Ærøskøbing
If you are not planning to come with a car then we strongly recommend staying in Ærøskøbing itself. For one thing Ærøskøbing is a beautiful and romantic little town. The joy of just walking around the cobbled streets and peeking through the windows of the old houses, or stopping at the cafes in the square or by the harbour. And the other thing is that we are planning to do most of the ceremonies there and everyone can walk everywhere in the town.
Marstal
Marstal is a historic maritime town on the island of Ærø in Denmark, known for its rich seafaring heritage and picturesque harbor lined with colorful houses. The town has long been a center for Danish shipping, with the Marstal Maritime Museum showcasing its legacy of shipbuilding and life at sea.. We recommend you stay there if you have a car and want a more harbour flair.
